Colloquy

The Official Blog of the Graduate Institute of St. John’s College

To turn “St. John’s” into “Johnnie.”

To demystify “Graduate Institute” and etch in its place “Round Table of Readers.”

A round table of readers that puzzle about Pascal over pizza, talk Tao over tea, spin Sophocles with their salad, contemplate Confucius in their coffee, imbibe Bibles and beers. Voracious and vivacious, yes, but made particular in the concrete language of testimonials and pictures.

At the end of the day, we’re just like you. Ready for bed.

At the start of the day, we’re just like you. Ready to read, ready to talk.

Pull up a chair, friend. You’re welcome here.
